A railcar carrying 156,000 pounds of frozen pork suffered temperature control issues while in transit, requiring immediate disposal of the product.
The train had to be stopped mid-route, with no predetermined location for staging or disposal. Coordination with railroad operators was required to minimize service disruption while managing a large-volume disposal under time pressure.
